CHEMISTRY

The study of Chemistry in the High School System of the Government of Mexico City aims to contribute to the acquisition of a basic scientific culture that ranges from recognizing that Chemistry uses its own language and a specific methodology, based on analysis and synthesis chemistry of materials, as well as the importance of the quantification of changes in matter, in particular chemical changes, until recognizing the participation of energy as the promoter agent of said changes, since any change in the composition of the substances involves an energy transformation.

CHEMISTRY I

The student analyzes the concepts, principles, laws, theories and models
used in Chemistry through its historical evolution; recognizes that the analysis, chemical synthesis and character
Quantitative of Chemistry are methodological tools that
differentiate integrated chemical science from the others: it acquires a basic chemical culture that implies the use of the language of Chemistry, the proper handling of school laboratory instruments and substances, as well as the development of research skills, to carry out the analysis
systematic review of problematic situations that occur in their environment.

CHEMISTRY II

The student recognizes that Chemistry is a science that studies matter through its properties and structure, considering changes in the composition of substances; its interrelation with energy and the principles that explain these changes; values the contributions of Chemistry to society, through technological development, to improve the quality of life and optimize the use of resources, as well as the repercussions on its environment, derived from these advances; develops attitudes such as teamwork, respect for the ideas of others, discipline, learning systematization methodology, commitment and responsibility.
