ENGLISH

The program of the subject has a communicative and educational approach, promoting interaction between the reader and the text, that is, guiding students in their approach to current and interesting texts for them.

To achieve the above, the basic skills and strategies have been determined in each course, promoting the gradual autonomy of the student; from applying basic reading strategies, to developing their own strategies to carry out documentary research with an interdisciplinary approach.

The purpose of the three courses of the English subject is to develop in students strategies that allow them to understand authentic texts written in English and at the same time provide them with the necessary resources to incorporate their own strategies in a self-taught manner, as well as foster a taste for reading in this language.
