BIOLOGY

The course aims for the student to analyze the object of study and the methodology of Biology, from the different levels of organization of living beings, based on the structure, form and function, under criteria of unity, continuity and metabolism as result of evolutionary development, to establish the relationship of Biology with society and himself.

To achieve the development of these fields and training lines in students, academic work is carried out in the classroom, in the laboratory, in individual and collective study and in tutorials.

BIOLOGY I

Within the academic work of the Biology I course, the areas of training (critical, scientific and humanistic) and the training lines (knowledge, skills and attitudes) are articulated with each other to support the comprehensive development of the student.

BIOLOGY II

The Biology II course has as its principle that the student learns to generate better explanations about the interactions of living systems with their environment, as well as about their physical and mental balance as an individual, through the integration of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values acquired in the Biology I course and those that will be built through the Biology II course, as basic elements of their scientific training.
